Country Post in Huntington

Ordered a simple grilled cheese and soup meal. So surprised super tasty and we left very satisfied! The our waitress was very attentive and the staff seemed very friendly!

Great service and atmosphere along with amazing food! Add in a budget friendly menu; you can't find a better place nearby for American food.

We have eaten here twice. Great home cooking type comfort food with ample serving sizes and great prices. The breaded cheeseburger is made fresh and is very tasty! The servers have been very friendly and helpful. Well worth our hour drive from home!

Home town atmosphere. Great service. The prime rib was so tender and tasty. Will be going back.

Good food and people. If you want a family style dinner then this is the place. From sandwiches to prime rib and daily specials. I have ate there twice and both times have been absolutely possitve. While you are there, try the comfort food... you won't be disappointed!

Cactus chili is delicious! Wait staff is super friendly. Food has always been good. Pancakes go over the edge of a dinner plate.

My family and I meet my father-in-law and his wife here most every time we are in town. The crew that works this place is awesome. They help each other and they have a great service all the way around. The food is always top notch and never a disappointment.

There are several reasons why I keep coming back here. The food is excellent and the service is better. I feel that we get ample food for our money.

Great service, good food and friendly staff. This is a "go to" for our family. Love their breakfasts and if you've never had their pea salad, it's a must!

The biscuits and gravy is excellent it is a must if you like biscuits and gravy also the heart attack on a plate is amazing. The portions are huge. The cook and the staff are awesome. Keep doing what you guys do will defiantly be coming back again.

We went with a large group after a funeral. They did a good job of handling the orders and drinks. There were a few slip ups that they quickly corrected. The broasted chicken and fried haddock are recommend.

Good food reasonably priced, with an at home atmosphere, waitresses are just like family. We usually visit at least once a week, we visited on Valentines Day and had the Best Prime Rib dinner ever!!! The steak was so tender it melted in your mouth, I'm not a Steak eater,but will definitely try this again. Thanks John, and crew. You're the best.:)

Whenever I come back to Huntington, this is the only place I eat go out and eat breakfast. Big portions, variety of options..delicious. never disappoints.

My husband & I had supper here with my family. Had a nice meal. My prime rib & mashed potatoes over bread was very good. My sweety had ham steak. Only 2 people out of a full restaurant was wearing masks. Not even the employees were wearing them. Was almost a normal day.

Great food. Smoked sausage with sauerkraut . Very generous portions. I noticed most patrons leaving with "carry out" boxes to take home leftovers. Friendly staffThey make an awesome breaded tenderloin too!

Always a great experience going here! It is always good for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Staff is very friendly, and always make sure you have a full cup of coffee. The restaurant is clean and the service is quick. I have gotten a breaded tenderloin, chicken tenders, french fries, pancakes, hashbrowns, and bacon and can confirm that they are all delicious! Especially the tenderloin! Yum!

Food was great, servings were huge, didn't get a snicker when I asked for a cheeseburger minus the bun! Waitress was super sweet. Had a nice quiet meal on a Tuesday night. Would definitely return! And the pickle slices... Perfect!

Our first time at The Country Post, We're happy that we stopped to have dinner here, The Post had this homey atmosphere. Brianna was a smiley & friendly host, that was very welcoming.My husband and I had the Haddock Fish Dinners, which we say is the Best Fish we've had here in town!, along with the Homemade fries & onions, which reminds me of grandmas home cooking, also had fried mushrooms, macaroni and pea salad... Yum. Our granddaughter had the BLT with fries and she loved how they piled the bacon on 😁 Thank you for a Wonderful Dinner this evening. We will back again.

Great variety of food and breakfast. ..large portions or small. Great for a family. My french toast...my husband had a plate called panic which had an omelet wrapped with sausage and hashbrowns and sausage gravy on top!
